About

While Eduardo Paolozzi is best known as a sculptor, he also made a distinctive and perhaps surprising contribution to the worlds of fashion and mid-century design. In the 1950s he created bold textile designs that applied his collage aesthetic to modern dress and furnishing fabrics for companies such as Horrockses and David Whitehead. Geoff Raynor and Richard Chamberlain of Target Gallery and Dennis Northdruft, Director of the Fashion and Textile Museum, will discuss this little-known aspect of his work.
