PANORAMA is an independent art programme which aims to offer a platform for emerging artists to exhibit and discuss their work, develop new networks and get inspired.
About
The selection of artworks aims to explore the connection between video & visual arts, performance and music.
It proposes a diverse selection of artworks and media of expression in order to surprise, intrigue and arouse the imagination of the audience and the participating artists.
PANORAMA was born from the will to create a platform where artists can present their work, meet and exchange; a physical place that provides a casual and intimate environment that encourages experimentation and interaction between artists and audience members.
For this reason the event is free and open to the general public, the space and the evening programme are designed to facilitate inspiration and conversations.
When selecting artworks to be featured at PANORAMA, the artwork and artistic process are evaluated in equal measure. We really want to know what the artwork intends to communicate and what it expresses - either aesthetically, socially, politically or emotionally. We’re also interested in the background research carried out during the creative process.
That's why each featured artist is invited to present and discuss his/her work with the audience during the Q&A following the screenings.
