About

This roundtable discussion will explore the artistic and curatorial challenges when re-articulating historical material using sound and the archive, and introduce the story of The African Choir, whose portraits will be on display in the gallery.

Participants include: Philip Miller, Thuthuka Tibisi (via Skype) in conversation with Professor Tamar Garb and Renée Mussai, Curator and Head of Archive at Autograph ABP. Invited guest speakers to be confirmed.

Presented by Autograph ABP in partnership with UCL’s Institute of Advanced Studies and the Centre for the Study of Contemporary Art.

Part of The Missing Chapter programme, supported by Heritage Lottery Fund. Realised with support from the South African Department of Arts and Culture, and Mr Jonathan Levy.
