About
Join us for a discussion on topics raised in 'I Lost My Heart to a Starship Trooper' a group exhibition which includes painting, printmaking, video, photography and sculpture that appropriates the work of other artists from 17th Century to the 20th Century.
Looking at diverse issues such as the changing position of the artist, the impact of the art market, the concept of the masterpiece, approaches to the legacy of western art canon, the role of museums in defining it and the larger context of popular and cultural appropriation.
