Pamela Rawnsley’s work is directly influenced by the Welsh landscape that surrounded her studio. Her silversmithing and jewellery reflects landscape in all its moods, the big spaces with tiny details, the ambiguity and shape-shifting nature of the light on the hills.

About

Her husband Matthew Tomalin, an artist-metalworker, originally a jeweller, will be joined by independent curator Gregory Parsons for a short talk about Pamela, her expansive practice and the curatorial process of putting together a landmark retrospective exhibition. Get to handle objects featured in the exhibition and enjoy them up close. Part of Pamela Rawnsley 1952 – 2014 exhibition.
