A|D|C invite you to “Palimpsest” a free art exhibition to commemorate the Russian Revolution set to coincide with the centenary of the murder of the Tsar and the Romanov family in July 1918.

About

The Soviet Palimpsest.
 /palim(p)sest/: Altered, effaced, reused, a construct that retains its own history. Distorted layers built one upon the other, many still apparent beneath the surface, not dead but dormant.

A|D|C create art with paint, metal, light, ceramics, precious metal, embroidery, glass, wood, collage, photography, print, concrete.

Monday July 16th 7:30pm: “Russia 100 years on” Q & A and open discussion forum:
On the eve of the centenary of the death of the Tsar and his family we invite you to a journalist discussion event “Russia 100 years on” presented by Tony Barber, European Editor of the Financial Times and discussion panellists Elizabeth Piper, Chief Political Correspondent, Reuters UK and Tim Heritage, Deputy Editor Top News, Reuters who all have extensive experience of living and working in Russia and will be opening up their experiences for questions and discussion. 

Sat July 21st 7-2am: ‘One Last Shot’ Fancy dress party.
