Upstairs at Highgate Contemporary Art is delighted to present a new body of work by Sam Peacock and Hannah Ivory Baker. The exhibition titled, ’Out from the Downs’ displays a series of paintings and drawings inspired by the beautiful coast and countryside of East Sussex.

Upstairs at Highgate Contemporary Art is delighted to present a new body of work by Sam Peacock and Hannah Ivory Baker. The exhibition titled, ’Out From the Downs’ displays a series of paintings and drawings inspired by the beautiful coast and countryside of East Sussex.
Sam, works in mixed media on steel, using a variety of manmade and organic materials to create work that is deeply connected to the landscape and history of place. Whilst Hannah works in oil paint and charcoal, creating both large sweeping panoramas and small intimate sketches inspired by an emotional response to the natural world. The show continues until Friday 29th March.
Live painting: Sam & Hannah will be upstairs in the gallery Saturday 9th March from 12pm
