A multimedia installation combining sound, video, AI, painting and performance, DONYI presents the third and final Ouroboro exhibition at St George’s Garrison Church, Woolwich.
Responding and repurposing the site, the third Ouroboro is a temporary site-specific art installation exploring the church’s colonial past and spotlighting the oppressed histories hidden amongst its mosaics. Through a mixture of mediums, the exhibition creates a multisensory environment, challenging and prompting the viewer to look past the site’s surfaces and re-engage with the location through a new lens. The show continues the Ouroboro creative cycle, building on past exhibitions to contribute to the “creative creolisation” of the series.
