About

A series of experimental workshops for anyone interested in the potential of inter-disciplinary learning.
Our common chord will weave together practices of;
Thinking through movement, The art of listening,Sound and song,Poetic acts,
Storytelling,Breath-work and meditation.
The sessions will investigate curious objects, sculptural processes, old maps,
urban residues and the structures within our physical and spiritual body.
Each session will consist of a guided activity, a free roaming, a creative
section and a collective listening. The sessions will build to form a final
collective event, which will see the coming together of experiences
throughout the programme.

The workshop space will be held by artists Louise Sayarer and Eva Knutsdotter Vikstrom. Their practice Fourthland works to harness the latent and collective
power of land and people, in order to create spaces of shared knowledge,
objects and performance. The workshop will work with their 4 Lands
methodology, which is rooted in ideas of the interconnectivity of sculptural,
spiritual, social and psychological space.
Louise and Eva are experienced group facilitators, teachers and artists.
Working together for many years to bring diverse groups together. Their work
is influenced by teachings in art, environmental science, yoga, dance
mediation, botany and studies into traditional process of village cultures. For more information visit
