R-e-d-B-l-a-c-k-Curation presents Otherworlds.1, an exhibition investigating the otherworldly through the lens of identity.
The artists within the show grapple with notions of duality. They probe at what it is to belong to the outer world as a collective system and how our individual inner worlds collide with the bigger picture. The question is how do our inner worlds absorb, interpret and construct artistic vision with spiritual integrity?
Otherworlds.1 explores themes such as movement and fragmentation, the surreal and sacred, urbanism and nature, politics and corruption, emotion and catharsis. The artworks amalgamate to form a web of intensity, aiming to tangle the viewer in a moment brimming with age-old questions, art historical reflections and psychological indentations.
