What is the story of art? According to Luhmann, art can never afford to be merely observing or representing the world, but it is also a matter of " but rather has to contribute to the creation of distance and reflexivity, which can also tell a different story by creating another world and reality.
About
The artists represented in the group exhibition "Other Stories" tell quite different stories, they question familiar pictures and reveal new, surprising perspectives: stories about the subjectivity of the perception of space, nature (especially the mountains) and the world meet images of the Memories, personal discoveries and experiences, as well as narrations about failure and widening. New perspectives on flight and expulsion show individual humans with their longings beyond the media hysteria. Pictures of bombs are transformed into floral arrangements, artificial organs and injured stones make the boundaries between man and machine, between dead matter and living organism, permeable.Artists
