About
A firm fixture at London Fashion Week, Osman is the go to designer for a host of celebrities and high-profile women from the worlds of art, film, design, entertainment and commerce. His style combines haute couture techniques and fabrics with modern perception of what women need today along with strong social commentary.
Ikon’s galleries will be transformed by an installation that displays Osman’s own creations with assemblages of ‘metamorphosed’ garments originally manufactured in developing countries (on this occasion in Bangladesh) by low wage workers for fast fashion in the West.
Osman’s work has previously been exhibited at the V&A Museum and the Design Museum. Osman Yousefzada also produces The Collective, an annual publication where varied creatives are invited to contribute around one theme.
