About
The artist Monica Bonvicini and the director Philipp Stölzl will talk on the occasion of the premiere of “Turandot” taking place only a few days earlier at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden and the exhibition Opera Opera at the PalaisPopulaire about the relationship between opera and art as well as about intention and implementation of artistic design in music theater.
The conversation will be moderated by Bartolomeo Pietromarchi, the art director of MAXXI. Stölzl created the stage design and directed the Puccini opera to which the series of works shown in the exhibition “bind me! torture me! #1- #10” by Monica Bonvicini directly refers.
