Wir beschließen das Jahr 2016 mit einem besonderen OPENHAUS_extended!

Das OPENHAUS ist eine monatlich stattfindende Veranstaltung im ZK/U, bei der die KünstlerInnen der Residenz Einblicke in ihre Arbeiten bieten und das Publikum einladen, über ihre Projekte und Prozesse zu diskutieren. Das ZK/U wird diesmal auch seine laufenden und zukünftigen Projekte vorstellen: Hacking Urban Furniture, Artist Dis-Placement, und Ständige Vertretung, dem zukünftigen Projektraum für Berliner KünstlerInnen.

Unter dem "Titel Resetting the City: Urban Infrastructure Revisited" verbinden wir das OPENHAUS mit dem neuen Format Güterverkehr, welches unter dem Motto "Re-Pairs" mit verschiedenen Formen der Wissensproduktion und -weitergabe experimentiert.

Kommt vorbei, um die KünstlerInnen zu treffen und das ZK/U zu erkunden, um Fragen zu stellen und mehr über laufende Projekte zu erfahren! Es werden Workshops angeboten, Präsentationen gezeigt, Brote gebacken, Fahrräder repariert und gebaut und Führungen durch das ZK/U stattfinden.

A special OPENHAUS_extended will close the year 2016 at ZK/U!

The OPENHAUS is a regular public format that takes place every month in ZK/U, inviting audiences to connect with and to explore the process of its residency programme. We would like to use this occasion as an opportunity to give an outlook on some of our current and upcoming projects like Hacking Urban Furniture, Artist Dis-Placement and Ständige Vertretung, a project aiming at building a new working space for Berlin-based artists at ZK/U. Under the overarching theme called "Resetting the City: Urban Infrastructure Revisited" we will combine OPENHAUS with a new format called Güterverkehr, which experiments with diverse forms of knowledge production, this time under the motto "Re-Pairs".

Do not miss the opportunity to meet the artists in residency and explore ZK/U’s space and surroundings, to ask questions, to discuss and to exchange ideas about ongoing projects and artistic practices! There will be workshops, presentations, forums, bread baking, cargo bike building, collective pillows-sewing, guided tour and more!
