Anteros Arts Foundation is proud to present an open viewing on Thursday the 7th of July from 6:00-8:00 PM featuring Gawain Godwin's "All the Conspirators" and Francesca Cant's "Lemon".
About
Gawain Godwin is a painter and printmaker, who is interested in the exploration of alternative or imagined worlds. "All the Conspirators" focuses on ideas of decay, regrowth, conflict and resolution, to produce unexpectedly positive, fragmented outcomes. Godwin's exhibition will be showing from the 5th-16th of July in the Anteros Library.
Francesca Cant's "Lemon" investigates the importance of the act of play in the early development of a child’s cognitive ability; it is how they learn about the world around them and how they form relationships with people. This essential exercise often gets disregarded as adult lives get busier – damaging imagination and creativity. "Lemon" embraces the idea of play. The shapes and colours used within this installation evoke childhood memories of building blocks and encourage narratives to be discovered and rediscovered by the viewer. Cant's exhibition will be showing from the 5th-16th of July in Antero's Front Room.
