This June London’s ever burgeoning art community will open its studio doors to the public, enabling art lovers and anyone with a passion for crafts and design to experience the works of over 400 SFSA members.

About

A three day art, craft and design event increasingly recognized as one of the most successful of its kind in the capital. Including: Architecture, Bookbinding, Cabinetmaking, Ceramics, Clockmaking, Digital, Drawing, Fashion & Accessories, Fine Art, Furniture Design, Garden Design, Glass, Illustration, Jewellery & Silversmithing, Moving Image, Photography, Painting, Printmaking, Sculpture, Textiles & Costume and Writing there is certainly something for everyone.

The annual Open Studio at Second Floor Studios & Arts (SFSA) is an integral part of their yearly programming and commitments to community engagement, giving Londoners the chance to meet its vibrant community hub of more than 450 arts, craft and designer maker practitioners in their creative spaces; to discuss, view and buy their work direct and commission free. The Open Studio will be open to the public on Thursday 2nd  (5pm - 9pm), Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th (1pm - 7pm) June

A stone’s throw from the Thames Barrier, SFSA is an affordable studio space provision championing the practice of visual and fine art, craft and design in London. It is an arts community in the truest sense, housing the widest range individuals, all varying stages of their careers, ranging from recent graduates, emerging artists and makers to long established practitioners.

Come and join us for our FREE drop-in workshops for families and adults in the Atrium and Unit 2 Education Space.

o   Thames Barrier Print Studio
Spacious, professionally equipped open access print studio. Drop in and find out about facilities and membership, view work by members and experience hands-on demos.

In our fourth year we will once agian offer hundreds of A5 original works. Each piece £20 with 75% of the proceeds directly supporting our four nominated charities
