About

At The Courtauld's open morning this Saturday 29th February, there will be a selection of short, engaging talks giving an insight into what The Courtauld teaches and how they teach it, and a chance to find out more about The Courtauld over coffee and cake after the short lectures.

The event will feature:

•    Dr Anne Puetz and Clare Richardson Introducing Art History

•    Dr Geoffrey Nuttall on the Renaissance

•    Nicola Moorby on the art of J.M.W. Turner

•    Dr Caroline Levitt on Picasso

Short Courses at The Courtauld offer world-class and engaging programmes in art history on a variety of subjects, and are intended for anyone with an interest in art and culture over the age of 18.

They include a termly evening lecture series; week-long day-time Summer School courses running over four weeks in July; three- or four-day Spring and Autumn courses, a Saturday study event once each term, and a range of Europe-wide art history Study Tours. Teaching at Vernon Square combines class-room sessions with visits to galleries, museums, churches and other sites.
