Open Engagement is an international conference and platform to support socially engaged art. Southern Exposure is local partner of this year's conference, which takes place in Oakland from April 28 - May 1,2016.
About
Seven past recipients of Southern Exposure's Alternative Exposure grant present projects at various locations througout San Francisco. Alternative Exposure supports the independent, self-organized work of artists and small groups that play a critical and significant role within the San Francisco Bay Area arts community. Participating artists are: Other Cinema, Living Room Light Exchange, Black & White Projects + A Simple Collective, PLACE TALKS, Stairwell's, Art for a Democratic Society.
