Open Access Ceramic Sessions (Mornings of 31st March, 7th & 14th April 2014)

This is an excellent opportunity for participants to take part in an open access ceramic class led by Ruth Dupre. The course takes place over 3 consecutive Monday sessions, allowing drying time between each session. The studio will be open for people to work in ceramics in any way that suits them. Each participant on the course is encouraged to bring their own approach to the studio. A sense of experimentation and difference is encouraged rather than a working through of specific set processes or skills. Ruth is a very experienced teacher, and will help students realise their ideas in different ways, with as little or as much guidance as required. The open nature of the course itself will teach students about a range of possibilities of working in clay, firing and finishing work. Please note there will be a charge for grey clay of £2.00 per 500g before firing.
