Open 2012: Sustainable Design - open for submissions

Artists and designers at all stages of their careers are invited to submit work for Salisbury Arts Centre's 2012 Open Exhibition. A panel of professionals will select the most innovative, imaginative and well executed of entries across the spectrum of design applications including products, fashion, architecture and the borders where fine art meets design. We are looking for works that are either fully realised, at least to prototype stage, or represented in an engaging and highly developed visual form. They could be unique works or items with potential for mass production. Selected works will be shown in the unique setting of Salisbury Arts Centre and the most popular (by public vote) will receive a cash prize. The theme is 'designs for a future'. The Open 2012: Sustainable Design follows on from Open 2011: Animation and Open 2010: Makers and Materials.
