About
OPEN is an exhibition featuring the work of 15 artists from the online marketplace Etsy.com. Displaying a range of practices from painting and fine art ceramics to printmaking, this is a showcase of a diverse mix of styles, practices and subjects.Curated by Lena Nix from Space Studios, Matt Roberts from a-n and Katherine Mellor. Further information on the artists and their works will be found online at etsy.me/EtsyArtInfo from 22 September.
Event programming:
Thursday 16 October: invitation only. Private view: 6-9pm.
Friday 17 October: 1pm - Lunchtime Tour: Curator Katherine Mellor will share tips on how to start a collection, as well as discussing her work with the private and public art collections she has managed.
Saturday 18 October: 11am - 3pm - Meet the Artists.
