New site specific installation at the Royal London Hospital
Artist Oona Culley has taken photographs of trees around the hospital grounds and combined them with imagery from The Royal London Museum archives, to produce this site specific artwork.
The artist uses form and composition to explore perceptions of presence and absence, memory and forgetting; the dramatic silhouettes of trees currently growing are shadowed by traces of trees from days gone by.
