About
"If a silk-worm took his web for the limits of the universe" - is an attempt at recreating a courtyard the artist encountered in Rome."When I was away, on sleepless nights, I would picture myself in my bedroom instead. A door, a light switch, and a closet to the right. A yellow dot of light here, and a red one there. It was an easy thing to do, after two decades of living in the same bedroom.
Back home as I toss and turn, oddly enough, I find myself thinking about a distant courtyard. I can never quite picture the scene. Nevertheless, it is always calm and quiet, and I like it there.", reminisces Ong Si Hui.
