'One on One' is the world's first attempt to organize an exhibition or performance in which two different artists, never met before, orchestrate a common and shared project together.

About

One on One strongly believes in the encounter of two different artistic personalities, promoting a new creative dialogue and a new educational and cultural experience for the audience.

This project reflects a vital and free vision of the "encounter", far away from marketing programs and political necessity.
In this way, the art-act is devoid of limits, open to all possibilities, open to the risk of improvisations.

One on One is, therefore, the human risk of relating with the Other.

Concept of Improvisation:

Artists Marissa Rae Niederhauser and Veronika Marquez come from different cultural backgrounds and artistic lineages but they both make art using the body to explore issues of identity and female archetypes/stereotypes. They will be presenting an improvised performance incorporating, autobiographical text, video and movement.

- "We get to look in on these two artists as they uncover a shared language" -

- - One on One is curated by Valerio Mazzetti Rossi
