ON THE FLOOR: a series of live solo pieces by four Norway-based performance artists

ANJA CARR (http://anjacarr.com/)
Anja holds a Master in Fine Art from Oslo National Academy of the Arts. With her handmade costumes, she transforms toys from her childhood into an adult world, sometimes described as repulsive or dystopic. She often performs inside her intimate, colorful installations. Recent shows include the POPPOSITIONS Art Fair (Brussels, BE), the Agency Gallery (London, UK) and Le Générateur (Paris, FR). In tandem with her own practice, she runs PINK CUBE in Oslo, an exhibition space whose walls are coated in pink paint containing bodily fluids.

SUSANNE IRENE FJØRTOFT  (http://www.susanneirene.no/)
Originally trained in the visual arts, Susanne Irene Fjørtoft obtained a BA in Scenography from the Norwegian Theatre Academy. Based in Bergen where she is currently working as a theater maker in the companies LIVESTOCK and Happy Gorilla Dance Company, she also embarks on missions as a performance artist and freelance scenographer.

IDA GRIMSGAARD (http://www.performanceartoslo.no/ida-grimsgaard.html)
Born in Norway, the Oslo-based Ida Grimsgaard also obtained her B.A. in scenography from the Norwegian Theatre Academy in Fredrikstad. Working in the fields of theatre, film and performance, she has exhibited and performed her work at various festivals across Europe.

FRANZISCA SIEGRIST (http://www.franzisca-siegrist.com/)
Now based in Oslo, Franzisca Siegrist was born in Switzerland and raised in Spain. She holds an MFA from the Universidad de La Laguna, and an MA in  Art Production from the Universitat Politècnica de València, Spain, where she studied performance art under Bartolomé Ferrando. Working with objects, installations and performance art, she is also co-founder and chairperson of the artist-run initiative PAO – Performance Art Oslo, and has shown her work in several European countries, as well as in Asia and the United States.
