About
The next exhibition at the gallery visits a group of artists living and working in an odd spot between sea and mountains in Wales. Borth in Ceredigion, is the setting for this unique group of artists. Gwenllian Ashley has curated this show, asking the group to respond to their immediate environment. The results are varied and a visual feast for the visitors.
In Oriel Fach, ceramics by Katie S Howard reflect on the so called ‘herring girls’ that tirelessly serviced the fishing industry in Stornoway.
And finally, Jane Eve Dixon presents a photographic record of ‘The Spirit of Ynyslas’, the submerged forests of Borth.
