14 artists use drawing to explore how artists communicate & collaborate and to push the boundaries of what a contemporary drawing may be. They test out their ideas in this experimental space, showing a broad range of media - drawings, paintings, prints, installations, film and animation work.
About
Drawing Connections is a group of artists working together using drawing to challenge their individual practices, exploring how artists communicate and collaborate, and pushing the boundaries as to what a contemporary drawing may be. Their collaborative approach embodies Mario Mertz’s view that ‘co-operation is one of the most necessary of human possibilities.’ On Our Way to Where? marks a point a year into the group’s journey, offering the opportunity to test out ideas in an experimental space open to the public. The exhibition encompasses a broad range of media including site-specific work, wall drawings, sculptural pieces, film and animation alongside more traditional approaches.
