Oliver Beer’s unique, in-person group studio visit will run approximately 1.5 hours. The visit will consist of the following:
About
Meet at Beer’s London studio for a visit led by the artist, followed by a tour of his concurrent exhibition Oma at Galerie Thaddaeus Ropac in Ely House, London. The visit will focus on his work in the exhibition and themes within his practice.
Beer will discuss his ideas, practice, research, processes of making, collaborations, as well as revealing his studio space. Topics may range from the hidden properties of objects, bodies, and architectural sites, to the ways in which his social and familial relationships become the blueprint for his multi-disciplinary works. Visitors will have the opportunity to meet Beer and engage with him through questions during the visit.
