About

Photographer Charlie Meecham has spent two years recording the people and buildings he encountered along the road between Oldham and Manchester. He is interested in how local residents can define their sense of space in a constantly changing landscape. This exhibition builds on earlier visits to the Oldham Road that Charlie Meecham made between 1986 and 1988. Some photographs capture the same places at different times. If the images were not dated would you know when each was taken?
