During each edition, photo-experts review the work of many talented photographers to choose their favourite portfolios. Every year Photo Meet and its partners award three photographers for the best portfolio with an exhibition at theprintspace Gallery in vibrant Shoreditch.

This year winners are British photographers Max Miechowski, Thomas Duffield and Norwegian Erik Norrud who distinguished themselves for their strong portfolio series presented at Offspring’19.

Miechowski will display his new ongoing powerful work on the British East Coast, Duffield explores the evolving roles within family connections by presenting a series of intimate self-portraits shot with his grandfather and Norrud will show his moving diptychs on the challenges of psychiatric institutions and mental health patients.

In addition, the Gold award recipient Miechowski will enjoy a free year subscription to Photoworks and a full-length feature on the Royal Photographic Society Journal issue in Spring 2020.”

The exhibition runs from November 7th - 27th with the opening night on Thursday 14th. Join us at theprintspace Gallery and witness these photographers incredible projects first hand.
