Jeanne Blissett Robertson (b.1993) is a ceramic artist who explores the interaction and interconnectivity between nature, design and human experience. Her minimalist sculptures are made using slip-casting and slab-building processes, and are inspired by 2D representations of nature, such as microscopic images, star constellation shapes and graphic symbols. Since graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 2015 (Sculpture & Environmental Art BA Hons), Jeanne has carried out artist residencies in Mexico (Proyecto Showroom), 2017, London (Kings Mall), 2017, Abu Dhabi (Manarat Al Saadiyat), 2019, and Edinburgh (Edinburgh Ceramics Workshop), 2021. David Gray (b.1979) is an artist/craft maker with a specialism in architectural ceramics. His work seeks to follow nature’s growth processes through applying principles of repetition and extrusion techniques that can create an abundance of forms for further alteration and arrangement. His modular ceramics are created to provide an adaptive element for making creative or calming spaces. Since graduating from the Princes Foundation School of Traditional Art in London in 2013 he has worked on a wide range of community and heritage projects, collaborations and ceramic symposiums in the UK, China, India and Vietnam. His craft skills have been developed through working in sign writing, decorative glass, woodworking, mould making and a masters in Material Practice at the University of Edinburgh. www.davidgrayceramics.com
