A showcase of 24 local artists and one open studio, part of Peckham Festival
About
Nunhead Local One is an exhibition curated by artists Joanna McCormick and Caroline Wright as part of Peckham festival to showcase and celebrate the vibrant and diverse artistic talent of SE15 and surrounding areas.
Taking place at The Salvation Army Hall, upstairs from The Bench coffee shop and charity shop, the event will be a welcome dive into real life. Come and browse paintings, prints, photographs, ceramics, sculpture and installation. All work will be available to purchase, and a percentage of any sales will be donated to The Salvation Army. Our local Sally Army have worked tirelessly throughout the pandemic, supporting those in need who have been hard hit by the difficult situation we have found ourselves in.
There will be a kids drawing table and display wall and the door of Jo's studio will be open throughout the exhibition.
An opening celebraton will take place on Nunhead Green on Thursday September 16th, 6-9pm.
