"Tattooing and witchcraft are intimately related. Both can be healing, empowering, ritualized, painful and heretic. 

The banners are a combination of sigils and symbols created as a ritual for the start of a New Moon (Nouvelle Lune) - a new phase for all involved. A set of protective and thriving spells for AKA, my lover and myself. 

The prints are a reference to woodblock printing, which constitutes the basis of my visual language, grounded in the art and culture of European history, and a play on its modernization, depicting empowered individuals and celebrating queerness."

ARTIST BIO:

Graduated political science and gender studies in Lyon Lumieres, France. 
Graduated fine arts in Chelsea college of fine arts, London, UK. 
Performed at Torture Garden, Mori + Stein Gallery, Franko B’s Untouchable, Danny Boyle curated performance festival, Battlefields mixed media event in Camberwell Uk.
Part of Sang Bleu London tattoo studio opening team.
