Nothing New: A Pre-Loved & Recycled Fair

The Minories have decided to hold a fair with a difference selling only goods that have been recycled, upcycled or pre-loved. We have invited makers, artists, crafters, vintage and bric-a-brac sellers and other friends and supporters to come up with inventive ways to repurpose old items and give them a second life or a new function. We have added a twist and asked them to be creative with their pitches too and sell their work and goods from blanket stalls, bike basket or suitcase pitches for something between an art fair and a car boot sale only much friendlier to the environment. These fun compact stalls will be crammed wi...th goodies. Anything goes but everything created or sold must have been pre-loved and ready for a new loving home! We have a wonderful array of stall holders joining us to make this a truly unique event.

Hopefully in our own small we way we will be able to have a positive impact on the environment and stop sending as much waste to landfill. And if nothing else it may prompt us all to think a little more before throwing that old item away.

The fair will thread through our beautiful walled garden and throughout our ballroom and the upstairs areas which are not always open to the public.
