Nothing‘is’ Immediate, a series of multi-sensory exhibitions in Hampshire, exploring 3D geometry, five elements & therapeutic sounds.
About
The third exhibition at Chapel Arts Studios, Andover September 2021, presents a collaboration between CAS associate artists Tony Spencer, Maija Liepins and Christine Dodd. The artists invite audiences into a space of sensory exploration and contemplation of the tangible and sacred forms of nature. Spence’s sound sculptures explore 3D geometry, associated with the elements Water and Air. Presented as multi sensory objects, they incorporate the sounds of Himalayan Singing Bowls, activated by the movement of the viewer within the space. Maija Liepins and Christine Dodd respond to the theme with a multidysciplinary approach incorporating moving image, poetry, painting and ceramics. Together they present an installation, which explores the function of art as a practice for wellbeing.@tonyspencerarts @maijaliepins @christinedoddart #nothingisimmediate
