About

Explore wild corners of the British Isles from the towering peaks of the Scottish Highlands to the rugged west coast of Ireland, through Norman Ackroyd’s dramatic landscape etchings. A student of Julian Trevelyan at the Royal College of Art, Ackroyd (b. 1938) fell in love with the etching process. He is known for his monochrome etchings which capture the drama and spirit of Britain’s most remote locations.
