About
ROSL ARTS and BEARSPACE are pleased to present an exhibition of emerging artists work examining the theme of finding home.
Exhibiting Artists: Dominic Bradnum/Chris Hawtin/Natasha Kissell/Lucinda Metcalfe/Nadja Gabriela Plein/Jane Ward
Home and travel are two key elements in our lifestyle, seeking a strong identity in our residing environment whilst craving the excitement and experience that adventure and escapism bring. This exhibition is an interpretation of the experience of the members’ club (Royal Over-Seas League) in which it sits, an exhibition that explores the idea of a ‘home from home,’ as being a ‘member’ is to belong away from your main place of residence. The selection of Artists explore the theme of home through displacement and the making of identity through habitat, while investigating whether home is a notion or a location.
BEARSPACE and ROSL ARTS have selected artists who reflect ROSL’s ethos of creating an international home from home in the heart of St James & Edinburgh.
