Their figurative photography from NYC, Berlin and London will be shown along with a performance art event that will amplify the narrative of the metamodernist manifesto whilst subverting their residency at By Other Means gallery.
Prepare to be taken through the intersubjective realm of artists, performers and DJs as you oscillate between past, present and future, moving through freedom and captivity amidst destruction and reconstruction, projections and rejections. No, It Is Not; Not Always aims to converge the dichotomies, divergences, and differences that persist, and celebrate their multifaceted diversity under one metamodernist narrative - a metaphorical collage of experiences and stimuli that explores the liminality of personality, queerness and identity.
If this still sounds delusional or fragmented and if you are still in doubt, thinking “ NO, IT IS NOT ” NOT ALWAYS ” then we welcome you to join us and experience it for yourself!
The artists from DT500MAG together with featured artists to be announced await for an evening of art, performances and drinks at the private view on Friday 9th of March at 7PM.
