The Electorate
On 13 November 2019, Nicky Hirst was appointed Election Artist 2019 by the The Speaker's Advisory Committee on Works of Art of the British House of Commons and will present a commissioned work of art for the Parliamentary Art Collection in Portcullis House. 'The Electorate' is her forthcoming solo exhibition opening on Thursday 12 May, in tandem with her Election Artist Commission; following which it will also open for extended hours for London Gallery Weekend on 13, 14, 15 May 2022.
