The Next Choreography Festival is Siobhan Davies Dance’s first annual festival for young people, by young people.
About
Curated by participants from our Next Choreography youth programme, in partnership with choreographer Charlotte Spencer and Siobhan Davies Dance, the festival offers the opportunity to learn about the art of choreography and sample highlights from the yearlong course. Audiences are invited to move through Siobhan Davies Studios exploring a combination of live performance, film, photography and sound, and see new work created by the participants and professional artists.
This year’s festival also includes a dance writing workshop with critic Sanjoy Roy, held in partnership with Dance Umbrella. Please note this session must be booked in advance.
