The first exhibition at Class Room will bring together a group of eight women who are all currently engaged in creating abstract paintings.
About
Class Room, Coventry’s new contemporary art venue, will open on the 10th of December 2016. Set up by Pluspace Projects to showcase contemporary artists from the West Midlands alongside work by some of the leading artists in Britain today. The gallery is co-located with Holyhead Studios only a short walk away from the main city centre.
The site for this new gallery is within a Victorian Quakers Meeting Hall that originally was designated as a classroom for women. The first exhibition at Class Room will bring together a group of eight women who are all currently engaged in creating abstract paintings.
