The aim of the workshop is to show how an artist can make a 3D world make sense in a 2D image.
About
Sean Julian has been a professional illustrator for over 20 years and during that time he has used perspective to make his compositions more dynamic, and the worlds he creates feel like a place you could visit.
The aim of the workshop is to show how an artist can make a 3D world make sense in a 2D image. In the morning students will practice the technical side of perspective by drawing from still life. Then, in the afternoon they will create a woodland scene, exploring how a sense of perspective can be achieved when using tone. Suitable for beginners.
