The New Artist Fair's 'Framed Exhibition' returns to Candid Galleries in London's trendy Islington district with 58 new and recently established contemporary artists from the UK and around the world.
About
If you are looking to buy high quality contemporary art for your home or office, then the New Artist Fair is one of the best art fairs to do so.
The 'Framed Exhibition' is different from most other art fairs because it has the feel of a gallery with the chosen spacious venue and curated layout. Each artist has their own space, alternating between 2 metres width and 3 metres width, depending on the size of their works and how many pieces they are exhibiting. As the individual artist spaces are not sectioned off into separate booths like they are at most art fairs, it makes it a more pleasant viewing and buying experience for the visitors.
Most artworks will be framed as that is the theme and title of the event, although there will be a wide variety of contemporary artwork on show.
Artists to look out for are painter Brian Hodgson, who is very popular amongst the Islington locals with his delicate use of shadows; new photographer Janine Kilroe with her amazing trees and landscapes; portrait artists Karen Maley, Raj Singh Tattal, Gary Roberts and Mathew Vieria, each very different but all very talented; abstract artists Leah Michelle, Simon Slater and Maria Cuculis and ceramic artist Peter Norris who's range of work includes exquisute bowls of lemons to large jazz inspired masterpieces.
Its hard to single out any one of the 58 carefully selected and very talented artists as the best, because as the organisers promise, whatever your style or preference, they have something for everyone.
