About

This exhibition, presented by Belgravia Gallery, will display the collection of signed artwork produced by Nelson Mandela in the early 2000’s after his release from prison and time as President of South Africa. The images are mostly based on places he remembered on Robben Island such as The Lighthouse and The Church, and also included will be the iconic Hand of Africa. Mr Mandela said of becoming an artist that he’d ‘like to become a full-time artist when allowed to retire’.
