Plonk is delighted to present their first project which is set in the derelict setting of Safehouse1 in Peckham. This process started by exploring the possibilities for developing an installation which interacts directly with the space. Although seemingly empty, the space’s raw fragmented interior is in reality a complex layering of materiality neglected over the years and full of possibilities. The numerous nuances and exposed fabric jumped out as opportunities to establish another layer where aspects of colour, shape and form could be played with.
