‘Nature’s Veil’ presents five international and local artists who delve into the intricate relationship between humans and nature.

Introducing BBA Gallery’s latest group exhibition, Nature’s Veil.

There is always something mysterious about a veil. After all, it always conceals what is hidden behind it. At best, we can vaguely guess what might lie behind the surface. The exhibition ‘Nature's Veil’ presents works by five artists who explore the complicated relationship between humans and nature in their paintings, drawings and sculptures.

The title ‘Nature's Veil’ suggests a rather metaphorical confrontation with nature, the origin of which seems to be veiled - as if by a fleeting perception. The artworks in this group exhibition calls and challenges the viewer to find understanding in the anthropomorphic shapes and scenes. Here the question is posed as to what we perceive with our eyes, how we explore our surroundings, what is initially characterised by our preconceived opinions, by cultural influences or personal bias. A veil of art that is worth lifting.
