Tramway welcomes a new exhibition of art by people in the Scottish criminal justice and secure systems
About
Narrative a new exhibition of artwork from prisons, secure hospitals, secure children’s homes and community justice services in Scotland curated by acclaimed author Jenni Fagan is being held at Tramway in Glasgow.
It will feature up to 180 works entered for the 2017 Koestler Awards – a charitable scheme that recognises artistic achievement in the criminal justice and secure sectors.
It will include paintings, sculpture, needlecraft, nail art, printmaking, woodcraft, audio, animation and writing. The range highlights the variety of categories covered by the awards scheme, which has been running for more than 50 years.
