Myths and realities 2: Making sense of risk

This is the second of a series of events on contemporary social questions. We've invited leading researchers and practitioners on risk to explore our attitudes to risk in our everyday lives — at home, at work and at play — the way they differ from the views of policy-makers and planners, and the way risk is portrayed in the media. Sir Bill Callaghan, Chair of the Legal Services Commission, former Chair of the Health and Safety Commission, will chair the debate.
