Due to the overwhelming success of ONE DAY | BERLIN art exhibition about the wall between Mexico
and the US, the art show will be extend for a whole year.
The gallery Benhadj & Djilali will be declared a temporary museum in a ceremony party.
About
Curator and gallery owner, Yasmine Benhadj-Djilali is quite pleased about the astounding success of ONEDAY | BERLIN. She is extending the exhibition until next year. Adrian Sierra Garcia stems from Tijuana,
Mexico. The binational artist grew up right next to the much discussed border between Mexico and the
US. For ONE DAY | BERLIN Adrian Sierra Garcia has designed and built a huge brutal art installation. It is
aggressive, irrational and absurd, making the visitor feel what it means to be marginalized and excluded.
The metallic sculpture also allows, in the widest sense, the creative manoeuvring in the personal search
for one’s own happiness within a superimposed system.
With ONE DAY | BERLIN, Adrian Sierra Garcia wishes to pay tribute to all those affected by the wall
between Mexico and the United States.
The most important exhibition in Berlin
At the exhibition’s grand opening (Nov 22), the gallery Benhadj & Djilali welcomed over 500 enthusiastic
visitors. Now, for one year, Berliners and tourists have the opportunity to visit and experience exhibition
for a whole year.
“This is currently the most important and relevant art exhibition in Berlin,” says Dr. Filipp Goldscheider,
publicist, film producer and art collector
