Mud, Oil and Plastic is an exhibition of painting and sculpture combining works by three artists whose primary concern is with processes of making. The exhibition incorporates interactive elements in the form of participatory paintings, presented as a series of tabletop games.
About
Works evolve from accumulations of daily studio activity. Ideas emerge through periods of gestation and the work becomes a culmination of decisions taken, and of shifting approaches to colour, texture, surface, shape and form. The works are approximations of experience that cement personal relationships to method and material.
